In 1927, George Brown, an entrepreneur, recognized that OEM’s were without a source for quality wood products in the Midwest.  Mr. Brown initially focused on woodturnings for tool handles and garden implements.  However, Brown Wood Products Co.’s capabilities quickly expanded to include wood bearings for Agricultural Equipment and fully machined parts for military needs.  By the early 50’s Brown Wood Products Co. had evolved into a full service company providing wood parts and component for virtually every conceivable need for diverse markets throughout the nation.

Today, Brown Wood Products Co. has facilities just outside Chicago as well as Yarmouth, Maine and continues to focus on the needs of Original Equipment Manufacturers. Brown’s capabilities include turnings, CNC machining, moulding as well as full finishing, assembly and packaging of custom wood parts and components. 

By focusing on customer needs, Brown Wood Products Co. has become the industry leader in providing custom wood parts and components to US manufacturers of Store Fixtures and Displays, Hardware, Housewares, Furniture, Lighting, Educational Products, Gifts, Premiums, Game Calls, and Toys.
