Returns Policy and Procedures
Customers must notify Brown Wood, Inc. (BWI) of stock product (Designs of Distinction) returns within 30 days of delivery, with the exception of returns for damage.
Returns for damage must be requested within 7 days of receipt of item. Should product be returned with damage due to inadequate protection, a credit will not be issued.
Returned product must be in original condition unless BWI is advised of a problem prior to issuing of Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
All returned product must be received by BWI within 90 days of purchase.
A restocking fee of 15% will be applied to all returns unless defective product.
Steps to return products to BWI:
- Call customer service at 800.328.5858 to receive RMA number. Place RMA number on outside of box.
- Ship items with ALL original packaging including interior protective boxes/materials. Should materials be missing, product must be re-packaged so as to protect all corners, edges, ends, etc. from damage.
- Ship product to BWI Freight Prepaid unless other arrangements are made with BWI.
