Designs of Distinction by Brown Wood, Inc.® offers multiple means of shipping for our customers. We pass our discounts with FedEx® and UPS® onto our customers. If you’d prefer to use your own collect account or organize your own means of shipping, we’re happy to accommodate. Please contact us to update your customer profile with your shipping account information.


We offer FedEx® shipping via each of the following speed options: FedEx Ground (& Home Delivery), FedEx Express Saver, FedEx Express 2 Day and FedEx Express Priority Overnight. 


We offer UPS® shipping via each of the following speed options: UPS Ground, UPS 3 Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS Next Day Air.

LTL Freight

We work with national freight companies to offer you the best rates and delivery speeds available. If your order requires LTL shipping we’ll contact you to provide you with more information and pricing. 

International Shipping

While our site may not be able to calculate shipping costs for shipments going outside of the U.S. and Canada, we’re more than capable or arranging shipping throughout the world. Contact us for more information and pricing. 

Customer-Arranged Shipping

Have a preferred shipper we don’t offer? You can make your own shipping arrangements. Contact us and we’ll be happy to work with you.

Will-Call Pickup

Are you in the Chicago area? You can drop by our warehouse (7040 N. Lawndale Ave., Lincolnwood, IL 60712) to pick your order up. Select Will-Call Pickup when checking out and we’ll notify you when your order is ready.

Oversize Shipments

Oversize shipments are subject to additional costs that may not be reflected in your initial shipping price. Any additional shipping fees for oversize shipments may exceed $150 and will be reflected on your final order invoice. Oversize items include our 96″ mouldings and tambour, full-size sheets of cut-to-size materials and high-weight items (like x-panels and bases). 

Lost or Damaged Shipments
