Our three bead turned columns are reminiscent of mid-19th century Bobbin or Spool turned furniture. Mass produced for cottage style designs in the mid 1800’s, these pieces were often used in rural areas and urban cottages. Designs of Distinction® wanted to breathe new life into the quintessential 1800’s cottage style design and, as a result, created the Charleston Bead Column in 3 different styles: Bead, Double Bead, and Bead with Foot.
Can be trimmed up to .75" for uneven floors and still fit standard cabinets.
Ideal for smaller spaces where standard posts are too bulky.
