(Chicago, IL): Designs of Distinction® [DOD] announces plans to introduce a new line of furniture feet with authentic brass slipper cups at IWF Booth #C2562, held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA from August 6-9, 2024. DOD plans to release 3 new styles in 2 sizes. Styles include Square Taper Foot, Round Taper Foot, and “Calla” Foot – in both 6”H and 9”H.

These new feet will be available in unfinished Hard Maple, White Oak, and Walnut. Each size and style feature a 5/16-18” bolt for easy installation.

DOD’s new MDF tambour panels are CNC’d from MDF “Plus” material, which has an increased internal bond making the “plus” grade ideal for intricate machining. The material is a popular choice for residential, retail, and commercial markets as its uniform density profile provides a stable, smooth surface for painting.

DOD’s Rattan webbing is crafted in traditional Vietnamese fashion by Vietnamese artisans and finely woven from natural cane fibers with no additives or preservatives.

DOD’s new Drip Dry Rack (currently in the prototype phase) will be available in Hard Maple with a clear finish or Poplar with a white finish, and measures 24”W x 36”L. The Rack offers a slim profile, hardwood frame, aluminum racks, and magnetic closure with adjustable chains.
