KBIS 2024: The largest turnout KBIS has ever seen.
KBIS 2024 did not disappoint! Marking its 60th anniversary, KBIS 2024 “exponentially grew from 2023,” attracting new and international exhibitors. Per NKBA, there was a 40% increase in new exhibitors at KBIS, and, with over 41,500 visitors – it was the largest turnout KBIS has ever seen.
Per the official KBIS 2024 Wrap Up, “attendees didn’t just turn out in numbers, but in quality,” a trend we also noticed at our Booth #N1863. Engaged and interested visitors energized our team – both at the show and upon our return to Chicago. We had an overwhelming amount of visitors in our Booth (N1863); from custom home builders to designers and students, we came back to Chicago with newfound energy from both the quantity and quality of visitors and the feedback they provided on our newest components and materials at KBIS 2024.
Today, we’ll walk you through what was on display at our KBIS 2024 Booth.
TAMBOUR PANELS & COMPONENTS
Base Shapes for Use with Tambour Panels
Our new Base Shapes were inspired by key findings from NKBA’s 2024 Kitchen Trends Report, including multi-functional islands designed for seating and gathering, incorporation of natural and organic materials, and geometric shapes reminiscent of Art Deco design styles.

Product Details: Angled and Rectangle base shapes are constructed with solid wood ends and solid MDF side panels. The Cylinder base shape is manufactured from multiple layers of heavyweight paperboard, with a similar density to MDF. The Cylinder shape includes end plugs with a hole to allow for additional support and electrical wiring. Each shape measures 34.5”H and features recessed panels for bevel, bead, cove and square style Tambour up to 1/4” thick for a flush fit. Shapes and Tambour are shipped unfinished, ready to stain or paint upon delivery. A template for cutting Tambour panels will be provided.
Solid Tambour Panels
Use solid Tambour panels on the face of cabinetry for effortless natural texture in your next project.
Solid profiles are available in a variety of sizes and styles. Stocked species include Hard Maple, Paint Grade Maple, White Oak, Alder, Red Oak, Cherry, and Walnut. Custom Tambour profiles and species available upon request.
Product Details: Solid Tambour Panels measure 24″W x 46″L – ideal for cabinet inserts/panels. Solid panels are made from laminated panels and CNC’s as a single sheet. Custom species, sizes, and styles available upon request. Minimum order quantities apply. Attach Solid Tambour Panels with construction glue, pin nails, or finishing nails.
Flexible Tambour Panels
Design a curved accent wall covered in Tambour, or a functional pocket-style door. Seamlessly wrap around corners and bend around curves with Flexible Tambour.
Our thin material backer allows tambour the flexibility to be used as a wrap or in flat applications. Unfinished American Hardwoods can be easily stained or painted in colors and finishes of your choice.
Flexible Tambour stocked species include Hard Maple, Paint Grade Poplar, White Oak, Red Oak, and Walnut. Custom Tambour profiles and species available upon request.
Product Details: Flexible Tambour Panels are stocked in Hard Maple, Paint Grade Poplar, White Oak, Red Oak, and Walnut. METALLIC ACCENTS
At KBIS 2024, we introduced a new finish for Metallic Accents – Titanium. We also featured our sleeves (for columns w/metal sleeves), Designer DripEdge™, and decorative aluminum straps, bars, and L-Channels.
NEW Titanium Finish
We premiered a new finish for our line of Metallic Accents – Titanium. With the addition of Titanium, our Metallic Accents are now available in 8 finishes.
The new Titanium finish is a beautiful blue-ish grey with a satin/buffed shimmer. Similar to our other stain finishes – like satin brass – the finish is shiny, but not mirror-like.

Product Details: Metallic Trim can be cut on-site using a lubricated, non-ferrous, high tooth count (96 is recommended) carbide blade designed for cutting metal. Secure all Metallic Trim with our double-sided ultra high bond (UHB) tape. UHB tape sold separately. Anodized Aluminum finishes are not applied like paint or plating – finishes are fully integrated into the aluminum substrate, so it cannot chip or peel. Anodized components can be cleaned with any non-ammonia based cleaner.
Designer DripEdge™
Our award-winning design, the Designer DripEdge™, made it’s first trade show debut at KBIS 2024.
Protect your cabinetry and add a subtle decorative touch to waste can pull-out cabinets with the Designer DripEdge. Made in the USA from anodized aluminum, the DripEdge™ features finished ends and includes pre-applied UHB tape for easy installation.
Brushed Aluminum, Flat Black, and Satin Brass finishes are unscathed from harsh cleaning solutions and will retain their bright metallic finish for years to come. Custom lengths & finishes available.

Drip Dry Rack
Our new Drip Dry Rack – currently in the prototype phase – features a slim profile, hardwood frame, aluminum racks, and magnetic closure. The Drip Dry Rack is expected to be available for purchase by August 2024.

Decorative Grilles & Mesh
Finely woven by hand like a metal textile from steel wires, Decorative Grille offers an elegant alternative to glass in cabinet & furniture design.
Choose from 12 styles of USA-made Decorative Grilles in 7 finishes – Antique Brass, Antique Copper, Antique Pewter, Flat Black, Polished Satin Nickel, Satin Brass, and Stainless Look.
Order Decorative Grilles as sheets, half sheets, or Cut-to-Size based on your specifications. Decorative Grilles & Mesh panels are not welded and can be difficult to work with on-site. With our Cut-to-Size program, panels are ready to install right out of the box.

Italian Mesh
Choose from 5 styles of Italian-made Mesh to offer even more unique designs and materials in your high-end projects.
Italian Mesh, like Decorative Grilles, can be used as an alternative to glass in cabinets and furniture. Our Italian Mesh is more flexible than Decorative Grilles, and is easier to bend around curves and create unique designs. Italian Mesh gives you the flexibility that other materials do not, allowing creative shapes, ventilation, wallcoverings, and more.
Order Italian Mesh as sheets, half sheets, or Cut-to-Size based on your specifications. Italian Mesh panels are not welded and can be difficult to work with on-site. With our Cut-to-Size program, panels are ready to install right out of the box.

Eco-Friendly Leathers & Resins
Achieve the ultimate organic texture with Pebbled or Grained Leather Panels. Our eco-friendly leather veneers are made with layers of 100% recycled leather fibers and coated with resin for durability and preservation.
Our line of USA-made Resin includes 3 stock designs – Botanical, Natural Leaf, and White Linen.
Natural and authentic materials, color, and texture are layered in GREENGUARD® certified polyester-based resin, creating a material that’s soft to the touch and soft on the eyes.
Both materials are sold as sheets or Cut-to-Size based on your specifications.
Leather Product Details: Leather veneer is composed of vegetable-tanned leather remnants that are pulverized and mix with small amounts of tree bark and natural latex. A final layer of resin renders the product highly impervious to wear and tear. Full sheet size – 48″ x 48″. Half sheet size: 48″ x 24″. Cut-to-Size panels are priced by the square foot. Handwoven Rattan
Our Rattan is carefully woven by hand from organic cane fibers in traditional Vietnamese fashion, with no additives or preservatives. Lightweight, durable, and easy to clean, Rattan can be used in a wide variety of projects – furniture, lighting, decorative screening, and more.
Rattan can be painted or stained, but if you prefer the natural look, we recommend coating with mineral oil or linseed oil.
Shipped in rolls or Cut-to-Size based on your specifications, Rattan invites natural material & tone to your designs.
Rattan must be stretched & soaked prior to installation. Soaking, stretching, and trimming Rattan can be a tedious process. By taking advantage of our Cut-to-Size Program, Rattan panels are ready to install upon delivery without the need to soak and stretch on-site.
Rattan Product Details: Can be painted, stained, or left “natural” by finishing with linseed or mineral oil. Shipped in rolls or Cut-to-Size based on your specifications. Roll size: 24″ x 48″. Our Brass Bistro Shelving began when we noticed several trends merging together in the Kitchen; open shelving, metallic accents, and high-end custom design, to name a few.
There was a lack of supply and custom programs for Brass Bistro Shelving, and we knew we could offer custom solutions to fill in the gap. We tested dozens of components and finishes, adapting the program as we learned about the product. We traveled internationally and sought out partners who understood the need for high quality and durable materials with consistent specifications.
Available in 2 stock finishes and 8 custom finishes, our Bistro Shelving is truly one-of-a-kind.
Product Details: Brass Bistro Shelving components are stocked in Lacquered Polished Brass and Lacquered Satin Brass. Installation instructions available. Our Brass Pot Rail Kits are the perfect match to your bistro shelving. We can provide custom widths and finishes in any of our three styles: Flush, Traditional or Cantilever.
Available in Polished Brass, Satin Brass and Flat Black finishes and 18″L, 24″L, 30″L, or 36″L. Each Rail Kit includes 6 matching S-hooks.

Manufactured from the finest quality cast brass, Gallery Rail components will not tarnish, rust, peel, or chip.
